「Recently / Lately - 最近・近頃」 に関する 英単語 & イデオム
「最近」の意味を持つ、 "recently" は、過去形・（現在・過去）完了形に用います。 "lately" は（現在・過去）完了形でのみ、使用できます。
Both "lately" and "recently" can modify a present perfect tense verb phrases. Only "recently" can modify a preterite verb phrases.
recently - lately の使い分け
□ lately / recently （現在完了形で）最近
ex) I've been kind of busy lately / recently.
最近少し忙しい
□□ lately: in the recent period of time
□□ ex) He has been feeling better lately / recently.

■ until recently （過去完了で） 最近まで
ex) Until recently I'd been using an old computer.
