「Find - Look for - 探す・見つける」 に関する 英単語 & イデオム
Q. "Find" と "Look For" は共に 探すの意味を持ちますが、使い分けかたはありますか？
A. "Find" は その "対象物" を "見つける" という意味に 限定されます。 一方 "Look For" は "対象物" のある "場所" や "探す過程" まで 含まれます。
■ find （紛失物などを）探し出す、見つける
ex) He found a dollar on the ground.
